Design, Build, Test
Every Foundry team at Ginkgo uses our custom in-house software. Ginkgo software engineers create the systems for design engineers that code combinatorial designs for DNA constructs, automate the process of DNA ordering by translating thousands of designs into creations for our build engineers, and code the software that analyzes the NGS, mass spectrometry, and HPLC data generated by our test engineers.
Tools and Methodologies
Ginkgo’s software team is organized in scrum teams that focus on particular areas of our software. They employ technologies like React, Redux, Python Django, Python Flask, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Gitlab, continuous integration and continuous testing to ensure best of breed software and results. Our software teams practice the Agile methodology to deliver great results and constantly improve our processes to make development more efficient and fun.
